The HIV Legal Network has done some of the most extensive work in Canada and the world on the issue of access to sterile injection equipment for people in prisons. For more than 25 years, the Legal Network has undertaken research, education, and public advocacy to build understanding of and support for the implementation of these programs in Canada.
